Our History
Since its founding in 2019, Matsukaze Bordeaux has made it its mission to share Japanese culture, starting with Aikido, then expanding to cultural activities such as the Japanese tea ceremony, calligraphy classes, and Japanese language courses.
More than just a cultural hub, we bring Japan to France every year through our Festival Japon weekend and the Japanese Cinema Days.
In over 5 years of existence, Matsukaze Bordeaux counts 4 activities, 2 festivals, and 4 annual magazines across the greater Bordeaux area.
