Japanese Festival Matsukaze

Magazine:

A magazine about Japanese culture, published quarterly!

Culture Japon 33 is a free cultural magazine dedicated to Japan, published by Matsukaze Bordeaux in the city of the same name and released on a quarterly basis. The 33 in the name is a nod to the Gironde department.

It is available in two formats: a print version, distributed locally, and a digital version. Entirely devoted to Japanese culture (arts, language, society, gastronomy, manga, cinema, literature…), it is aimed at a wide audience, from Japan enthusiasts to complete beginners, including students and professionals in the field.

Culture Japon 33 is travelling to the heart of Japan without boarding a plane.

Each issue is individually composed of:

  • In-depth articles, reports and interviews on Japanese culture (both traditional and contemporary).
  • Thematic features on the topics mentioned above (arts, gastronomy, manga…).
  • A calendar of upcoming Japan-related events in the Bordeaux region.

Although it is free, you are welcome to support us when picking up the magazine, or by becoming a member of the association to support our activities.
